FENDI: A Focus on Striking Patterns

Inspired by the eye-catching graphic designs of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, FENDI’s latest spring/summer 2015 capsule collection—in collaboration with renowned French designer Thierry Lasry—offers up bold silhouettes, retro hues and most notably unique patterns pulled from the brand’s archives.

The “Fanny” style flaunts a print reminiscent of the Kinetic movement, meshing pigments with geometric shapes. Topped off with an alluring cat-eye silhouette and a palette of purple, blue, gray, black and yellow, these sunnies are perfect for strong, sensual and elegant gals everywhere.

Meanwhile, the “Sylvy” style showcases a print with influences of the Cubism movement, combining colors through layers. Boasting a chunky square profile, not to mention pops of orange, gray and black, these shades are truly statement makers.

With namesakes hailing from the Dolce Vita period in Rome, these sunglasses also have Thierry Lasry’s signature touch—they feature the letter “Y” (the last letter of the his name and surname) on the inner temples for an extra boost.
