Safilo Gives Cannes Some Eye Candy

There’s nothing more glamorous than seeing the world’s rich and famous gather at the Cannes Film Festival to celebrate the art of filmmaking. This year was no exception—the stars came out in over-the-top gowns and dapper suits to celebrate each other’s contributions. There are plenty of glitzy parties, lounges and events to attend during the 11 day festival in sunny Cannes, France, but one in particular suited high caliber actors like Jon Hamm and Jamie-Lynn Sigler: The Variety Studio @ Stella Artois Lounge.

The Variety Studio—which is revered for its festival-filmmaker video series featuring memorable interviews with indie and award-winning directors, actors, writers and producers—was held on the breathtaking French Riviera for its fifth installment. To help make this event possible, Safilo USA and SOLSTICE Sunglass Boutique joined other sponsors to deck out the exclusive attendees with envious eyewear.

Now, we all know that being a successful A-lister means that you must carry an army of trusty shades at all times in order to fend off the shutterbugs. So what better way to surprise a room full of talented stars than with a face fitting of top-of-the-line sunglasses? Big names like Vanessa Hudgens, Rosario Dawson, Melanie Griffith, Ryan Gosling, Rob Lowe and plenty more, walked away in luxury brand shades including (but not limited to) Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Kate Spade, Tommy Hilfiger and CARRERA.

Take your time to revel in the swanky styles that these famous faces chose below:
