L.A.’s U.S. Open of Surfing was in full swing last week! It was the perfect opportunity to watch some amazing athletes tackle the waves, and to catch the enthusiastic spectators who forgot to throw on their sunnies for a long day at the beach. The Vision Council’s Bureau of Missing Sunglasses (BoMS) enlisted their L.A. street team to show the shade-less sports fans what they’re missing out on by handing out citations — which explain the risks of UV exposure and offer tools to keep you protected — and tattoos. The street team kept themselves busy citing the crowd and showing off their stylish sunnies. They were spotted wearing fun brands that are the perfect beach accessory, like Lacoste, Nautica, Nike, Maui Jim, Converse, Lucky Brand and John Varvatos.
